Runs |
| Distance for the winter cross-country runs for U7,8's & 9's are 1500metres following the pink flags. |
| U10,11's & 12's will be 2000 metres following the yellow flags. |
| And U13 through to U17's will run 3000metres following the orange flags. |
| Athletes must run within 3 metres to the side of the flag designated by the officials. Normally flags must be on the athletes left. |
| Often the tracks can be very wet, so it is a good idea to take an extra pair of shoes and socks to walk the track before you run it just in case they become sodden. And have a towel for after the race, because sometimes it can be come like a mud bath. Good Luck! |

Walks |
| Distance for the winter road walks for under 7's is 1000metres. |
| Under 8 & 9's will be 1500metres and Under 10 through to 17's will be 2000metres. Perhaps no mud on the track but taking a towel is a good idea because you still race in the rain. Good Luck! |
